We maintain close coverage of the ESG domain and work with leaders and executives across its many specialisms. We have a lengthy track record in delivering key executive hires and wider talent consulting, based on cumulative years of experience advising professionals, funds and deals as well as in wider practical leadership and team optimisation.

Argo Navis is led by Toby Ellison who brings over 15 years of consulting experience from a wide range of angles around the private equity industry and ESG domain.
Initially, he worked in private fund placement and mergers and acquisitions at Deloitte and since then has specialised in executive search at two leading London boutiques. His track record spans investment, value creation, and investor relations professionals, their advisors and the leaders of the companies they invest in. His first career was at sea in the Royal Navy, leading teams, people and operations, after which he completed an MBA at Cass Business School, London.

Behind Our Name
The ‘Argo’ was the ship (Navis), in ancient Greek mythology, for which Jason selected and recruited his intrepid crew, who became known as The Argonauts. These pioneers sailed The Argo, in their quest for the golden fleece.
